Miranda Lambert Discusses Tenille Townes and Her New Album ‘The Lemonade Stand’

Miranda Lambert discussed her former touring support act Tenille Townes and her latest album, The Lemonade Stand.

“Tenille Townes is such a special person,” Miranda said. “She is the sweetest, kindest soul and lights up every room, truly, when she walks in. I’ve gotten to be on the road with her several times and I’ve written a few songs with her and I just think she’s very special.”

“She’s one of those songwriter career type artists,” she explained. “I feel like she can make an amazing catalogue because of her lyrics and what she’s not afraid to say. She doesn’t write conventional love songs. She writes about things that are a little hard to hear sometimes, which I think is amazing.

“Her new record, The Lemonade Stand, just came out and I’m so proud of her and excited for her and you know, always try to be there for her whenever she needs me,” she gushed. “I’m sure I’ve been through something she’s going to go through soon so, just a big fan of Tenille.”
