Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok Wins Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media at 2023 Grammys
Composer Stephanie Economou won Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media at the 2023 Grammys for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok.
Stephanie was on hand to accept the award during the premiere ceremony in the theater. She thanked her family and loved ones before being handed her Grammy trophy.
Other nominees in this category included Aliens: Fireteam Elite by Austin Wintory, Call Of Duty®: Vanguard by Bear McCreary, Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy by Richard Jacques, and Old World by Christopher Tin.
The Recording Academy added six new categories for 2023. This brought the total of awards to 91.
New categories include Songwriter of the Year for Non-Classical, Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media, and Best Song for Social Change have been added. Additionally, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Americana Performance and Best Spoken Word Poetry Album were also created.
All About the 2023 Grammys
The most nominations this year go to Beyoncé with nine. Currently, Kendrick Lamar has been nominated eight times this year, while Adele and Brandi Carlile have each been nominated seven times.
During the main telecast, Trevor Noah, the Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, author and alumnus of the television host’s program, will once again host the show. As a result, the former Daily Show host will be hosting the show for the third year in a row. Noah will also produce the show.
