New Music Friday: JYT, Chancey Williams, Kacey Musgraves, Max McNown, Carly Pearce, & More

Another Friday, another reason to clear some space in your playlists.

From unexpected collaborations to fresh releases from some of music’s most exciting rising names, this week’s New Music Friday lineup is giving us plenty to talk about. Whether you’re in the mood for country, pop, or something completely different, there’s no shortage of new music worth discovering.

Chancey Williams joins this week’s lineup with “Thirsty and Blue,” while rising boy band JYT continues building momentum with their latest release, “Which One.” Both are among the artists catching our attention this week as we keep an ear on what’s next.

Elsewhere, Max McNown teams up with Carly Pearce for “Not Falling Out,” bringing two distinctive country voices together. John Mayer adds “Tom and Jerry” to the mix, while Miley Cyrus delivers “Cold Blooded (Demo),” giving listeners another release to dive into.

Country music is particularly well represented this Friday, with Brothers Osborne joining forces with Cody Johnson on “Born and Raised Hell.” Meanwhile, Megan Moroney, Brett Young, and Kacey Musgraves are among the familiar names adding to this week’s soundtrack.

Beyond the major releases, there’s plenty happening among emerging artists, too. From Tessa Rae’s “All I Ever Wanted Was Us” to Grey Oakes’ live rendition of “Carolina Blue,” this week’s lineup is another reminder that some of the best discoveries happen when you venture beyond the biggest names.

With so much new music arriving at once, the hardest part might just be deciding what to listen to first.
