Ryan Clark Releases Pop Infused Single “Made for Me” (Interview)

You can stop searching now if you like pop and acoustic music because you’re about to discover your new favorite artist in Ryan Clark. Recently, Ryan released his new single titled “Made for Me,” which showcased a different style of sound from Clark.

“I remember writing chords that just felt circular, they just fit, and from there I wrote lyrics that were relevant to me at the time, and all of sudden I had Made for Me. It is a very personal story and the cover artwork is even more personal. I pushed the creative boundaries a bit, but I think it is fitting for the story.” explains Clark.

This is his first attempt at a true pop song, a slight change in style from what he’s been putting out regularly. In a nutshell, he nailed it, since it features all of the aspects of the genre we enjoy most.

“I had a journal entry written about the concepts in the song…well before I wrote the song. I can still remember the feeling of falling for “the girl” and writing it down when her head was on my lap. I have that entry dated 3/9/21,” explains Clark.
