What is the story behind your new single “Long Game”?
This year has been a lot. It has been odd & trying. It’s the first time I’ve lost friends. It’s also the first time I’ve being doing what’s best for me. “Long Game” is me coming to the realization that things will come and go… but in the end what’s meant to be will be. All you can really control is how you react to things and I want to react in a positive way. I’m done stressing about the rest.

What was the writing and recording process like?
Lol, so, I went through a break up in the evening, woke up with a melody in the morning, wrote some chords, and then went to the studio with Pete Nappi. 3 hours later I had the jam of my life. This song literally poured out. I’m so blessed to work with someone as talented as Pete. He’s really helped make my vision come to life & let me focus on writing.

How do you feel you evolved since your last release?
I’m in my lane. This year I found my lane and I’m in my flow right now. I think these records feel really good together sonically and I’m excited for everyone to hear them.

Can we expect an EP or LP soon? Maybe more singles?
My debut EP Long Game is coming October 18th.

Do you have any pre-show rituals?
I like to read a book and get in a calm headspace.

What are some albums that have really shaped you as an artist?

A Rush Of Blood To The Head – Coldplay,
Blonde – Frank Ocean
Channel Orange – Frank Ocean
17 – XXXTentacion

What was your first musical memory?
Learning how to play the polar express theme song on piano. Random, I know, but that melody got me in the feels. I seem to gravitate towards soundtracks or the minimal moments in a song that make you realize just how powerful music is.
