Kelsea Ballerini Starts Over in ‘How Do I Do This’ Video

The video for How Do I Do This is finally here, and Kelsea Ballerini looks stressed but completely stunning!

When Kelsea Ballerini released her EP Rolling Up The Welcome Mat back in February 2023, she had no idea of the ride she was embarking on.

Meant as a way to heal from her divorce from fellow country singer Morgan Evans, whom Ballerini wedded in December 2017, the singer had planned on releasing the six songs and and never speak of them again. But her fans had other plans.

The public’s infatuation with the EP and its accompanying short film led Ballerini to perform the songs on her worldwide Heartfirst tour and to release a deluxe version of her EP, Rolling Up The Welcome Mat (For Good) in August 2023.

In addition to a few twists to the original songs, Ballerini had added an extra track “How Do I Do This,” in which she shared her nerves to start dating again after not having “been on a date since [she] was 22.”

The 30-year-old, who’s now dating Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes, has been very public about her newfound happiness and was more than excited to announce this week that she had filmed the video for the bonus track.

Released today (December 1), the video depicts Kelsea Ballerini doing exactly what she shares in her lyrics, being nervous at the thought of dating again. The singer is seen pacing around, trying on different outfits, cutting her hair and checking her phone for new texts over and over again.

In an Instagram comment along the video announcement, Ballerini jokingly asked her fans to choose their player amongst her different personas in the video:
