60th Academy of Country Music Awards Announces Nomines

The Academy of Country Music (ACM) announced nominations for the 60th ACM Awards, with Ella Langley, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson leading the list. Hosted by Reba McEntire, the awards will stream live on Prime Video on May 8 from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The event will celebrate six decades of country music with performances by top artists, including Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Lainey Wilson.

Nominee Highlights for the 60th ACM Awards

  • Ella Langley leads with eight nominations, including Female Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year. Her song with Riley Green, “you look like you love me,” earns six nominations.
  • Cody Johnson receives seven nominations, including Entertainer of the Year and Song of the Year (“Dirt Cheap”). He competes with himself in Visual Media of the Year.
  • Morgan Wallen ties with Johnson at seven nominations, including Entertainer of the Year and multiple nods for “I Had Some Help” with Post Malone.
  • Lainey Wilson earns nominations in six separate categories, including her first for Artist-Songwriter of the Year.
  • Luke Combs is nominated for Entertainer of the Year—if he wins, he secures the Triple Crown Award.
  • Kelsea Ballerini gets her first Entertainer of the Year nomination, along with Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year.
  • Rascal Flatts receives their first Group of the Year nomination since 2017.
  • Shaboozey earns his first nominations, including Best New Male Artist and Single of the Year (“A Bar Song (Tipsy)”).
  • First-time nominees include Gavin Adcock, Dasha, Noah Kahan, Ella Langley, Jessie Murph, Muscadine Bloodline, Shaboozey, Zach Top, The Red Clay Strays, Treaty Oak Revival, and Tucker Wetmore.
