Shaboozey and Gunna Perform at 2026 VMAs: Watch

Shaboozey and Gunna lit the 2026 VMAs stage on fire with their epic performance.

The “Bar Song (Tipsy)” chart topper performed his latest single “Cowgirl,” to the audience. The stage was set as a 1800’s western complete with a bar, horse’s buggy, and a wild wild west saloon. Shaboozey then brought out Gunna to give their debut televised performance of their collab, “High Noon.” Mid-way through their collaboration, the saloon’s roof was set on fire in an epic special effect.

The 2026 MTV VMAs was held on Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. This marked the return of the annual awards show to California for the first time since 2017. Snoop Dogg hosted the star-studded event.

Shaboozey has been nominated for five career VMAs. This year, he is nominated for Best Country and Best Cinematography. Additionally, Gunna has two VMA career nods.
