On Friday night, the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, played host to an electrifying performance as Ross and Rocky Lynch, collectively known as The Driver Era, took the stage at the renowned Stubbs Amphitheater as part of their highly anticipated Obsession Tour. Fans from all over the area gathered in droves, eager to see the dynamic family duo bring their unique blend of rock, pop, and indie music to life. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation, with the crowd buzzing in eager expectation as the opening acts set the stage for the main event.
The night kicked off with a special treat as Thomas Day opened the show, running all around the stage and engaging with the fans, Thomas brought an electric vibe to the crowd, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the night. Austin fans knew they where in for a special night as Thomas performing his new single “Sleep When We’re Dead” live for the first time.
The Lynch brothers—Ross on vocals and guitar, and Rocky on bass and backing vocals—were clearly in their element as they took to the stage. Their chemistry, both as brothers and as musical collaborators, shone through as they effortlessly commanded the crowd’s attention with their raw energy, exceptional musical talent, and undeniable stage presence.
In a surprise twist, Ross Lynch delighted the Austin crowd by performing “Can’t Do It Without You”—a beloved track from the Disney Channel show Austin & Ally, where Ross played the iconic role of Austin Moon.
