Cast of Netflix’s ‘Cheer’ Navarro College On Ellen DeGeneres

The athletes of the hit Netflix documentary series Cheer, including Navarro College Cheer’s coach Monica Aldama, and cheerleaders Jerry Harris, Gabi Butler, and La’Darius Marshall make an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Thursday, January 23rd. Monica talks about the show, and how it not only follows the cheer squad’s journey to the national championship but also gives an inside look at the students’ backgrounds and the hardships they have overcome. Then, Jerry, a fan-favorite, gives Ellen his best demonstration of “mat talk,” and Gabi and La’Darius share how cheerleading has changed their lives.
