The History of Gasparilla Music Festival

Gasparilla Music Festival is an annual non-profit music festival held in Curtis Hixon Riverfront Park and Kiley Garden Park in Tampa, FL. It combines music from a variety of acts and genres and incredible food from the best restaurants of the area. This year’s festival is being held March 7th and 8th and acts include Modest Mouse, The Gaslight Anthem, and Gogol Bordello. Past years lineups have included The Flaming Lips, RJD2, and Ra Ra Riot. Not only does the organization throw this festival, but throughout the year through various initiatives they support and promote local artists and restaurants as well as providing scholarships for music students.
