The Chainsmokers Release Emotional Single”New York City” and Bouquet EP

The music world is absolutely a buzz today. With all of this new music being dropped it’s become almost impossible for me to make a weekend playlist because everything is SO GOOD. However one groups new single stood out to me.

I’m a HUGE Chainsmokers fan. Their shows are always out of this world and every song they’ve put out the past few months has been straight f-i-r-e fire. But seriously I’m not joking…take a peek at their recap video from Lolla and Veld Music Festival this past summer.

So now that you know that Alex & Drew are the ultimate EDM bae’s, prepare to be amazed with their newest single “New York City” which Drew Taggart said in a Snapchat is  their”most emotional single” yet. Even though this single is an absolute banger you can easily tell how this song differs from most EDM hits. The tempo is a bit slower but still includes a significant drop. Not to mention the lyrics are something that’ll stick with you all day. The song has this vibe about growing up, moving to a new place, finding yourself and following your passions.
