Xana Upgrades First UK Tour Following Massive Response

By  |

One thing about British fans? If they ask an artist to tour the UK relentlessly for years, they WILL show up when you eventually do, and Canadian singer Xana saw the living proof of that just yesterday.

In a very Xana fashion, it was only after a long Instagram live to celebrate the third anniversary of her debut album on April 27th, that the singer dropped a hint of upcoming news on her social media.

“oh! btw! big announcement in the morning 🙂 sleep well,” the singer tweeted, leaving fans to ponder what the singer could have purposefully left out of their three-hour conversation.

But they didn’t have to wait too long, for Xana was quick to announce it all the next day: she will soon embark on the ‘Until It Wasn’t Tour,’ the follow-up to the ‘The Sex Was Good Tour’ that she did last year across North America. But this new tour comes with a little twist!

After an appearance at the WEHO Festival at the end of the month, the first leg of the ‘Until It Wasn’t Tour’ will officially kick off on October 1st, and will include 19 additional dates across 17 different states, with a final stop at the Los Angeles’ infamous Roxy on October 30th.

And much to the delight of her fans across the pond, the second leg of the tour will consist of 6 dates across the United Kingom, and will kick off on January 27th.

International fans were quick to excitedly respond to the news, selling out most of the British pre-sales in a matter of two hours. Due to the massive response to the pre-sales, the singer announced today that a couple of venues had been upgraded.

The show in Brighton will thus move from the The Hope & Run to the CHALK (+700), the one in Bristol from Louisiana to The Strange Brew (+200) and the one in London from The Lower Third to Village Underground (+450).

General tickets for the US leg of the tour are now on sale via xanaofficial.com/tour, while general sales for the UK tour go live tomorrow, Friday May 2nd, at 10am BST.
