During the first portion of Beyonce’s outstanding set, her daughter Blue Ivy performed as a backup dancer. The 13-year-old began trending on social media for her dancing skills. It wasn’t until later in the evening when the concert truly became a family affair with Rumi making a surprise public appearance.

During Beyonce’s song, “Protector” all of the backup dancers, including Blue, went to the center of the main stage. 7-year-old Rumi walked onto the stage to sit next to her mother. Rumi donned a stunning gold dress seemingly made of metal feathers. The mother and daughters embraced before they broke out in dance.

Beyonce held Rumi’s hand and they walked to the front of the stage. Beyonce knelt down and sang to her smiling daughter. Rumi performed a couple of dance moves before the song concluded. Rumi enthusiastically waved to the fans in the audience before leaving the massive stadium stage, led by Blue. Fingers crossed that we get another Beyonce, Blue, and Rumi moment during this tour!

Tickets for the Cowboy Carter Tour are still available via Ticketmaster and on select reselling websites.

Beyoncé made history with the Cowboy Carter Tour and broke two major records. With five scheduled performances at SoFi Stadium, she will set the record for the most shows by any artist or band at the venue. Additionally, she will break the record at MetLife Stadium for the most concerts by a single artist during one tour.
