Xana Releases ‘711,’ First Single Off Of Upcoming Third Album

By  |

Xana is officially entering her next era with the arrival of her new single “711,” out today via Nettwerk Music.

The track serves as the highly-anticipated lead single for her upcoming third studio album, marking a swift and ambitious follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2024 sophomore record, The Sex Was Good Until It Wasn’t, and its 2025 deluxe expansion.

“‘711’ was the first song I wrote for my third album. I knew it right away,” the queer artist shared on her Substack channel. “I also knew it’d be the first song I’d want you to hear. An official introduction to where we’re going now. 711, for me, isn’t about just one thing. It’s a true diary entry in all it’s mess, about the fleeting and all consuming thoughts that were driving my force at the time.”

As the first taste of the forthcoming album, “711” is an ode to freedom. It’s an unpolished confession that pushes Xana’s sound into bolder sonic territory and away from regular pop structures. The drums-lead track is full of the singer’s unapologetic lyricism and now-infamous callbacks to older songs, much to the delight of her fans who have spent the last few hours dissecting every word.

Written originally in 2023 and produced by Xana’s longtime collaborators Liam Moes and Shane Stephenson, “711” explores the overwhelming beauty of simply feeling alive. Built on a wave of emotional release, the song dives deep into themes of self-acceptance, celebrating the highs and lows of the human experience, and learning to love life and feel things fiercely and unapologetically.

If “711” is anything like the rest of the album, fans are definitely in for a treat!
