Watch Taylor Swift Perform Mini Acoustic Concert at Time 100 Gala

Taylor Swift was honored as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Influential People of 2019. Swift is on one of six magazine covers, the only musician to be featured on a cover. Her profile was written by former tour-mate Shawn Mendes.

Swift performed at the Time 100 gala on Tuesday, April 23 along with Khalid. She performed a medley of her hits on a piano and acoustic guitar for the intimate crowd. Her set list included:

• Delicate
• Love Story
• New Year’s Day
• Shake It Off

Swift even gave one of her legendary speeches during the concert, “I’ve always known it was the main pillar of kind of my sanity as well. Like I always looked at writing as a sort of like a protective armor. Which is weird, because you think of writing about your life, that’s usually like a vulnerability, but I think that when you write about your life, it gives you the ability to process your life. I use it as a way of justifying things that have happened to me. Whether they’re good or bad. I like to honor the good times and process the bad times.”

Swift was spotted chatting with fellow honorees Khalid, Emilia Clark, and Brie Larson prior to her performance. This marked the first performance since she announced new music coming on April 26.
