Taylor Swift Releases ‘You Need To Calm Down’ Off Seventh Studio Album ‘Lover’

Taylor Swift releases the second single off of her upcoming seventh studio album Lover, “You Need To Calm Down.”

Swift took to her Instagram Live to announce her new single “You Need To Calm Down” which debuted midnight EST on June 14. The music video will debut on Good Morning America days later on June 17.

Swift will be releasing her seventh studio album LOVER which will feature 18 tracks, the most she’s released in an album. Swift says the album is “romantic” in tone, and even debuted her album cover which features a heart on her face. She also announced four special edition albums available on Target that include a poster, book, lyric book, and blank lined journal. With four versions of content, “completely unique” along with a book. Each deluxe edition will feature two audio recordings from Swift’s creative process. The full creation of two of the songs on the album that she “really loves.”

Stella McCartney will also be collaborating with Swift, with more details to come on their clothing line collaboration. She assures that more Instagram stories with more details and content will be coming soon.

Something the Swifties missed in her “ME!” music video featuring Brendon Urie was the next single title. Urie says in the opening dialogue. “You Need To Calm Down” to Swift.
