T. Mills Review M15 Corona, CA

By  |

From beginning to end, T. Mills put on an energized and pumped up performance at M15 in Corona, CA on December 23rd. The show was part of the “Stuff the Stocking Toy Drive” presented by YNG FVS. The first 150 fans at to the venue who brought a toy to donate got access to an exclusive meet and greet with T. Mills after the show, I was impressed with this before the show even began.

Before Mills hit the stage, the drum intro leading into his set had the crowd growing wild with anticipation. This is exactly the type of energy that carried throughout the whole concert, which is something that feels almost lost nowadays. From the moment he stepped on until the moment he stepped off, the crowd loved it. One of his standout crowd favorite songs was “Lightweight,” a single from his Thrillionaire mixtape in 2012. It was the kind of performance that you couldn’t help but dance and say all the words along with him, and everyone in the room was.

His crowd interaction never stopped, which helped along the excitement. Whether it was holding fans hands, rapping right to them, pointing them out, dancing, whatever it may have been- it was working! Fans went even more insane for “She Got A…” and “Vans On” at the close of the set. Aside from the unprecedented energy, his upbeat songs are generally fun and to dance and sing along to, providing for great live entertainment.

His live skills are equivalent to if not better than his recorded tracks. All in all, the show was indeed just that- a real show that had everyone wanting more once it was over. Mills even posted on Instagram the next morning with a caption that read “just stuffed 3 huge bins with over 150+ toys!!! Thank you to everyone who came out last night and donated to making people’s Christmas!” Talent and giving back- what’s not to love?
