Liam Payne Shares First Song Without One Direction!

Fresh off the One Direction hiatus, Liam Payne is already at it! The former 1D star shared his first song sans Harry, Louis, and Niall today! But before you get too excited, he’s not in fact singing the song. He co-wrote it with Jamie Scott who has worked on such 1D songs as “Story of My Life” and “You and I.”

The song, “The Night We Met,” was written for Irish boyband, HomeTown. The song was released last month along with a video as part of HomeTown’s self-titled album and couldn’t sound more like a One Direction track. Check out the video below!

It may not be a flash back to the white v-neck wearing, Bublé singing Liam some were hoping for but it’s a start, right?
