Lauren Jauregui Teases Angel and Demon Visual for Debut Single ‘Expectations’ Out October 12!

Lauren Jauregui is finally ready to share her art, and we couldn’t be more excited!

The 22-year-old, who pre-launched her solo career in 2017 by releasing collaborations with Marian Hill, Halsey, Steve Aoki and Ty Dolla $ign, is getting ready to release her very own debut single ‘Expectations’!

Now, die-hard fans are no stranger to the track, for it was part of the few original songs the singer performed every night while on the Latin American leg of Halsey’s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Tour earlier this year. However, Jauregui had only shared very little so far about her mindset for the visuals that would accompany her upcoming album. That was until last night that is…

The singer took over Twitter yesterday to share coordinates of a secret location, with the caption “First come, first serve.” Skeptic, local fans rushed to the location, which turned out to be in Boston where Jauregui had attended the Forbes Under 30 Summit that same day. Once there, fans were handed exclusive signed Expectations posters featuring the release date of the single (October 12th, 2018) but also the very first visual of the album.

A few hours later, Jauregui followed with another tweet, officially sharing the release date, and surprising everyone with a first teaser.

If the teaser is any hint at the creative direction Jauregui wants to take to fully “explore [her] heart and creativity”, we definitely cannot wait to see what else is she has to share!
