Hinder’s Triumphant Return: 7th Studio Album Back to Life Released!

By  |

It’s a big day for rock fans: Hinder is officially back and better than ever.

The multi-platinum Oklahoma City rockers have dropped their long-awaited seventh studio album, Back to Life, today on all major digital streaming platforms—marking a powerful new chapter in the band’s two-decade journey. After a period of uncertainty and burnout, Hinder is roaring into 2025 with renewed purpose, a killer new record, and a summer tour that’s already heating up the festival circuit.

The band—best known for their 2005 mega-hit “Lips of an Angel”—has been through the wringer in recent years. In 2020, they recorded an entire album only to shelve it, disillusioned and uninspired. For a moment, it looked like Hinder might close the book on making new music altogether.

Then came a spark—“Bring Me Back to Life.”

“When you’ve been writing songs for over 20 years, sometimes you run out of things to say,” drummer and founding member Cody Hanson shared. “But this track was different. It reminded us of who we are and why we started this in the first place. It gave us a reason to keep going.”

That spark turned into Back to Life—a blazing, hook-filled record that’s already resonating with longtime fans and newcomers alike. From hard-rocking anthems to soul-searching ballads, this album shows a band that’s not just surviving

Following a packed 2024 that saw the band playing over 100 shows and sharing the stage with the likes of Creed, Three Doors Down, and Daughtry, Hinder isn’t slowing down. Their second headline tour of the year is already underway, featuring support from Saliva, Kingdom Collapse, and rising star Kelsey Hickman. One recent highlight: a sold-out, electric night at the iconic Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles.

From their early days as scrappy newcomers to their rise with Extreme Behavior and beyond, Hinder has always leaned into their evolution. And now, nearly 20 years since their debut, they’re writing yet another exciting chapter—one that sounds more energized, more fearless, and more alive than ever.

So crank it up—Back to Life is here. And Hinder? They’re just getting started.
