Flume takes over Chicago for a three-night run at the Aragon Ballroom
The master of glitchy mixed beats is finally back with an album after his latest hit singles were released in 2019 and 2020. On May 27th, Australian producer Flume, otherwise known as Harley Streten, took over Chicago by doing three shows at the infamous Aragon Ballroom. The long-awaited album Palaces features artists such as Quiet Bison, Oklou, MAY-A, KUČKA, LAUREL, Virgen Maria, Emma Louise, Caroline Polachek, and Damon Albarn. The album gives Skin vibes but Flume is still experimenting with the glitches and new things to sample. It’s definitely the type of energy that 2022 needs.
If you’re dying to catch him in the states, you can still see him on the remainder of his US tour. Touring with Flume, varying by city, are Channel Tres, Chrome Sparks, DJ Seinfeld, Eprom, Floating Points, Jim E-Stack, Jon Hopkins, Magdalena Bay, Oklou, Prospa, Shlohmo, Tinashe, Tkay Maidza, and TSHA.
