EXCLUSIVE: Kelianne Stankus on “Feels Like Christmas”

Kelianne Stankus is a singer, actress, dancer, gymnast, and TikTok megastar! We got to chat with her about her brand new Christmas single that just got released TODAY and is already on repeat.

Stage Right Secrets | What is the story behind your new single, “ Feels Like Christmas”?
Kelianne Stankus | Tayler, Nate, and I have always talked about doing a song together, so I thought it would be super fun to have a Christmas song. I love Christmas and can’t believe I have my own Christmas song.

What are some of your favorite holiday traditions?
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I start listening to Christmas music and decorating right after Halloween! My favorite thing is getting to spend time with all my family.

Can we expect some more new music from you?
100% yes!! I’ve been in the studio recently and I’m so excited for my solo music!

What has your experience been like being a member of The Hype House and Triller Compound?
It’s been absolutely incredible! I’m so grateful for every single person in the Hype House and the compound! These past couple months have been so crazy!

You have over 8 million followers on TikTok. What do you think makes for the most entertaining videos?
I think the in the moment, real and raw videos do the best! Whenever I have a draft video, I feel like it does better than a video I try to make perfect.

How did you get into acting, music, dancing, and gymnastics?
I’ve always been into acting since I was young. I did musical theater growing up and I loved it. I always knew I wanted to move to LA and do something in the entertainment industry.

What was it like opening up for Justin Bieber as part of your original dance troupe “The Acrobats”?
This was such an insane moment for me. I was such a huge Bieber fan growing up so being able to open up for him was amazing.

What could possibly be next for you??
I’m super excited for 2021. I have so many things that I want to accomplish next year. Looking forward to dropping my own music!
