Emily Osment Makes Bluebiird Return with ‘Porcelain Doll’

By  |

Emily Osment finally has time for her musician alter-ego Bluebiird again, and fans couldn’t be happier!

After releasing music under her own name for years via former record label Wind-up Records, Osment switched to the moniker Bluebiird in 2019, when she started releasing music independently.

Her first Bluebiird offering came in the form of a 5-track EP, When I Loved You, which was released on September 27, 2019. This debut EP served as an introduction to the new music Osment, now an adult, wanted to share, and was indeed miles away from what the singer had had to offer sonically since her debut in the music industry a decade earlier.

However, as the Hannah Montana alumni’s acting career continued to thrive, Osment had to pause her new music venture shortly after the EP was released. And her music then stayed on the back burner until today.

Soon after the actress wrapped filming CBS’s Young Sheldon, in which she played Mandy McAllister from season 5 to season 7, the triple threat returned to music.

Now 32-year-old, Osment is back with a new Bluebiird single “Porcelain Doll.”

Produced by Sean O’Brien, “Porcelain Doll” is the first of three singles that Osment is set to release this summer.

Titled “Paranoia Boys” and “Real People,” the two other tracks will all be sonically different. “There’s going to be something for everybody,” Osment shared with PEOPLE.

“Porcelain Doll” is available now on all streaming platforms.
