Emblem3 #Bandlife Review

My Valentine’s Day started with arriving at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI to hundreds of teenage girls lining the building waiting in the snow for Emblem3.  I didn’t know much about any of the bands performing prior to the show, by the end of the night the trio pleasantly surprised me and created another fan.  Before the show the guys came over singing to us and gave us their best high pitched screams.  They skated around the venue saying hi to everyone, making us all feel welcomed.

First up was Jackson Guthy, I’ve seen him live before and he put on quite a performance once again.  Next up was MKTO, I heard a bit of buzz about the duo made up of Malcom Kelley and Tony Oller but had yet to listen to their music.  Their opening song     I found myself nodding my head to their beat and even singing along with the na na’s. I will definitely be on the lookout to hear their full album in the future!

Finally Keaton, Drew, and Wesley take the stage right on time.  Their stage was unlike any stage I’ve seen before- it had a skate ramp, couch, lava lamps, and incredible lighting. I admired the fact that they really engaged the audience and repeatedly came over and held hands with fans. With social media so prevalent, the boys have fans vote for which song they want the band to perform that night, bringing something creative and intriguing.  Overall it was a great night and was entertained throughout.
