By  |

Is Camp Rock 3 actually happening? Former Disney stars seemingly confirmed the news!

The Bop to The Top Tour concert at House of Blues in Anaheim, Calif. had some very special guests. Some of the former actors in the hit Disney Channel films performed on stage. This included Matthew “MDot” Finley, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and Roshon Fegan.

“Are y’all ready for Camp Rock 3?” Finley asked the crowd. “I’m not sure if y’all heard, but, Camp Rock 3 is on!” he exclaimed, to a responding roar of the crowd. He then introduced Fegan and Perez de Tagle, who walked onto the stage.

Camp Rock originally debuted in 2008. Perez de Tagle played the role of Ella Pador while Fegan portrayed Sander Loyer. In Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which debuted in 2010, Finley joined the cast as Luke Williams from the rival Camp Star.

‘Camp Rock 3’ Rumors, Hints, and Clues

Rumors about the third installment of the Disney Channel film began in April 2025. On June 5, Production Weekly posted a synopsis. “When a popular band needs to find a new opening act, they launch a contest to discover the next big musical talent,” the newsletter read.

Alyson Stoner, who portrayed Caitlyn Geller in the films, spoke with People about the possibility of a third film. “I haven’t heard about Camp Rock 3, but you want to know how I heard about Phineas and Ferb‘s new season? From the internet,” Stoner told the outlet. She confirmed that Disney has not contacted her about the project as of June 5.

In a recent interview with Joe Jonas, who portrayed Shane Gray, he subtly hinted at the possibility of a third installment. The reporter asked if he would consider reprising the role. Jonas responded, “How do you know that I’m not?” The host followed up by asking if he would be reprising the role. Jonas replied, “I can neither confirm nor deny.”
