The Beatles ‘Now and Then’ Wins 2025 Grammy For Best Rock Performance
And the Grammy for Best Rock Performance goes to… The Beatles “Now and Then.”
Sean Lennon, John’s son, accepted the award on behalf of his father’s band. He noted that he was humbled how the band has lived on after all of these years and won a Grammy decades later. Last year, Boygenius took home this category for “Not Strong Enough.”
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Hosted by Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive year, the ceremony will broadcast live on CBS at 8 PM. Viewers can also stream the event live on Paramount+ with the Showtime add-on; for those with the standard Paramount+ subscription, the ceremony will be available on-demand the following day.
Leading the nominations is Beyoncé with 11 nods, potentially extending her record as the artist with the most Grammy Awards if she secures any wins. Other top nominees include Charli XCX and Post Malone with eight nominations each, and Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar with seven each. The Grammy Premiere Ceremony, hosted by songwriter and producer Justin Tranter, took place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, starting at 12:30 PM ET. This segment will feature performances and the presentation of the majority of the night’s awards. Fans can watch the Premiere Ceremony live on The Recording Academy’s YouTube channel and on live.GRAMMY.com.
