Beyonce and Dolly Parton teamed up for “Dolly P” and “Jolene.”
The tracks are off of Beyonce’s new country record, Cowboy Carter, which released on March 29. The track “Dolly P” acts as a voicemail interlude featuring none other than Parton, herself. Bey brought her own take to Parton’s chart topper, “Jolene.”
Also featured on this start-studded album include Parton’s God-daughter, Miley Cyrus. Willie Nelson, Linda Martell, Post Malone, Willie Jones, among others. All in all, the album includes a whopping total of 27 tracks.

Dolly Speaks About Working With Beyonce
Prior to the big album release, Parton sang Beyonce’s praises in a new interview with local station Knox News. She revealed that she “thinks” Beyonce covered her classic hit, “Jolene” for her then upcoming album.
“I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that,” Parton shared with the station. “I love her! She’s a beautiful girl and a great singer.”
Not only did they collaborate together, but this acts as a full circle moment, as Beyonce is actually a fan of Dolly’s music.
“We’ve kind of sent messages back and forth through the years,” she continued. “And she and her mother were like fans, and I was always touched that they were fans, and I always thought she was great.”

[Speaking: Dolly Parton]
Hey Miss Honey B, it’s Dolly P!
You know that hussy with the good hair you sing about?
Reminding me of someone I knew back when
Except she had flaming locks of auburn hair
Bless her heart
Just a hair of a different color, but it hurts just the same
