Taylor Swift Thrills Tampa On ‘The Eras Tour’ For Three Consecutive Nights

By  |

Taylor Swift left thousands wanting more even after performing three sold-out stadium shows in Tampa.

The singer-songwriter is currently headlining her The Eras Tour. She performed three back-to-back nights at Raymond James Stadium along with GAYLE,  Gracie Abrams, and Bebeadoobee. Swift even became the honorary mayor of the city for performing on April 13, 14, and 15.

The opening acts shined in their own right and proved that they could all handle a stadium production and massive crowd.

GAYLE’s cover of Elton John’s “Bennie and the Jets” was electrifying. Although she is best known for her hit, “ABCDEFU,” her entire set list featured songs worthy of being singles and chart toppers.

Meanwhile, Swift performed all of her hits from every single one of her ten studio albums. In total, Taylor Swift performed for three hours straight, something unheard of in the concert industry. The production of the show was top-notch. Each concertgoer was given a wristband that lit up based on the song that was being performed. It created such a beautiful visual display seeing just how many people were in attendance.

Taylor Swift brought a whole new meaning to the term “stage dive.” During the show, she paused where the screen on the catwalk converted to water. She then put her hands over her head and dove through a trap door. While she did have a malfunction during the first night, the second went along swimmingly.

Each night the 33-year-old performs “secret songs” that aren’t on her typical set list. For the first night, she performed “Speak Now” and “Treacherous.” The second night also included a surprise guest, songwriter and producer Aaron Dessner. The pair debuted their collaboration, “The Great War.” Dessner returned for night three to perform “Mad Woman” alongside her on the piano.

All in all, we pay tribute to our honorary mayor, Taylor Swift, for bringing thousands together to celebrate her musical eras.
