Twenty One Pilots Puts on Unforgettable Performance at Mad Cool Fest 2026: REVIEW + PHOTO GALLERY
Twenty One Pilots gave Mad Cool Fest attendees a night to remember.
The duo performed their headlining set on July 10, 2026 at Iberdrola Music in Madrid, Spain. The show began with Tyler donning his signature Clancy balaclava with his lit-up microphone. The stage set the mood with black and red hues filling the space before it revealed their full-scale production. This also marked one of their first live performances from Breach.
In true Twenty One Pilots fashion, their set showcased strobes, pyro, awe-inspiring lighting design, and epic fan interaction moments. When the duo performed “Heathens,” the crowd erupted into one of the loudest moments of the night. During their performance of “One Way,” the pair interluded “Stolen Dance,” from Milky Chance.
In such a memorable and Instagramable moment, Josh Dun performed on a suspended platform above the stage while giving his all in a drum solo. During “Ride,” Tyler climbed up to the VIP balcony across from the stage. The highlight was a security guard singing the chorus alongside the lead singer.
In an unforgettable performance, Tyler covered “Seven Nation Army,” by The White Stripes. The screen even projected a video of Jack White approving of their cover. He then seamlessly transitioned into “Stressed Out.”
The show concluded with Tyler and Josh on crowd-supported platforms performing “Trees.” Fans were left with air cannons, fireworks, and confetti to close an out of this world show.
