By  |

When literally everything is canceled, how do we connect? That’s the question an all-new virtual musical from The Theater Bug, in partnership with MA2LA, is asking as it debuts it’s exclusive digital music tonight live at 7PM CST on TheTheatreBug.org.

Written in a Theater Bug script and songwriting workshop by teen writers and recorded and produced remotely, the musical is the first of its kind. Featuring the stories of isolated teenagers striving to connect during an unprecedented time, the musical takes a deeper look at the challenges younger generations are facing in quarantine. Told across Zoom classes, FaceTime, TikToks and texts Quaranteened: A Virtual Musical is a chance for viewers of all ages to come together and enjoy a unique experience that was inspired by the world we are living in.

Check out the trailer below and tune in tonight at 8/7 CST for the live-streamed event!

About The Theatre Bug – The Nashville-based non-profit 501c3 organization was built to inspire young people to create community and build confidence--encouraging them through educational experiences in the performing arts. With an all-age model the Bug inspires younger actors to be better because they look up to the older actors, and the older actors to be better because they are put in a position of being mentors. The small, but growing family of young artists from different parts of town, at different ages, with different backgrounds are building bridges and finding community by creating art together.
