Melissa Greene to Appear on NBC’s The Sing-Off

Former member of Grammy-nominated group Avalon, Melissa Greene, is set to appear on NBC’s two-hour Season Premiere holiday special of its popular musical competition series “The Sing-Off.”

The 35-year-old will perform “Ghost” in front of judges Jewel, Shawn Stockman and Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump with the all-girl group Timothy’s Gift, one of the six new acts competing with no lip-synching, backup bands or safety net for a first-place prize of $50,000 and a Epic Records/Sony Music recording contract.

The Season Premiere on “The Sing-Off” airs nationwide on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT.
