Luke Bryan spoke about the pandemic, performance, tour, and more backstage at the 2020 CMT Music Awards. Bryan has been busy while in quarantine with filming the next season of American Idol, new music, other music events, and spending time with his family.

The 2020 CMT Music Awards will be hosted by nominees Kane Brown and Ashley McBryde alongside actress Sarah Hyland.
All winners at the CMT Awards are voted by the fans. Voting for the six “Video of the Year” finalists — Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert and Tanya Tucker — will continue through October 21.
Moreover, this year brought countless first nominations for artists. Blanco Brown, Caylee Hammack, Gabby Barrett, Ingrid Andress, Riley Green, Tanya Tucker, The Highwomen, and Travis Denning are first-timers. Non-country acts Gwen Stefani, Marshmello, and Halsey are also nominated for the first time.
With the pandemic, CMT came up with a unique new award, the Quarantine Video of the Year. Fans can vote for the award through CMT’s Instagram Story through October 20.
Firstly, Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Gabby Barrett, Jimmie Allen + Noah Cyrus, Kelsea Ballerini + Halsey, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs + Brooks & Dunn, Maren Morris, Morgan Wallen, Sam Hunt and Shania Twain will perform on the main stage. Additionally, Caylee Hammack, HARDY, Ingrid Andress, Mickey Guyton, Riley Green and Travis Denning will perform on the Ram Trucks stage.
Furthermore, Brandi Carlile, Demi Lovato, Diplo, Idina Menzel, Jessica Chastain, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Rob Thomas, Tanya Tucker, Taylor Swift will present.
