Jessie Murph Announces Sophomore Album Sex Hysteria, Out July 18
20-year-old breakout star Jessie Murph just announced her hotly anticipated sophomore album, Sex Hysteria, due out July 18 via Columbia Records.
As a taste of what’s to come, Murph dropped her sultry new single, “Touch Me Like A Gangster,” which made its live debut at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show in Miami.
Described as her “most daring and transformative” project yet, Sex Hysteria takes a fearless dive into the complexities of womanhood, sexuality, and self-exploration. Where her debut album, That Ain’t No Man That’s The Devil, was raw and introspective, Sex Hysteria turns the volume up—both sonically and thematically. It’s Jessie like we’ve never heard her before.
Spanning 15 tracks, the album serves as a cathartic deep-dive into generational trauma, personal liberation, and the weight of shame often placed on women who are unapologetically themselves. From reclaiming her body and desires to confronting old wounds, Murph’s storytelling is layered, powerful, and radically honest. It’s a project built on pain, but driven by healing and transformation.
The visuals nod to vintage glam, with Jessie donning a ‘60s-inspired beehive on the cover—a striking contrast to the modern vulnerability within the music. The album’s opening track “Gucci Mane” sets the tone with raw storytelling and emotional grit, while the bass-heavy lead single “Blue Strips” is already turning heads with its fierce energy and unapologetic lyrics.
Fans can now pre-order Sex Hysteria on vinyl and CD, with limited edition signed versions available while supplies last.
To celebrate the release, Jessie is also hitting the road for her biggest tour yet: The Worldwide Hysteria Tour. Launching July 27 in Phoenix, AZ, the global trek will hit major cities across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, before wrapping September 27 in Los Angeles. With Sex Hysteria, Jessie Murph isn’t just making music—she’s starting conversations, reclaiming narratives, and inviting fans to feel something real.
