Hudson Westbrook Announces Debut Album Texas Forever, Out July 25
Country music’s next breakout star, Hudson Westbrook, is officially stepping into the spotlight. The rising singer-songwriter has announced his debut album, Texas Forever, arriving July 25 via Warner Music Nashville/River House Artists.
Packed with 17 tracks, the project is a heartfelt tribute to Westbrook’s Texas roots. From the dusty backroads to lessons learned on long summer nights, Texas Forever offers a fresh yet deeply personal take on the Lone Star experience. Through themes of hard work, personal growth, heartbreak, and the bonds of family, Westbrook is set to introduce fans to his world—one song at a time.
“I’m so proud of this record,” Westbrook shared. “I love Texas—it’s shaped so much about who I am. We wrote 50-60 songs for this project and narrowed it down to 17 that I think really represent where I am in my life right now and what I love making as an artist: songs that sound like where I grew up, but read like something that just about anyone could relate to.”
The album features an all-star songwriting cast including Neil Medley, Lukas Scott, Reid Haughton, and Andrew DeRoberts, with Westbrook co-writing every track himself. Among the highlights is a collaboration with rising country artist Mackenzie Carpenter on “Lie To Me,” which fans are already buzzing about.
“I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever to tell y’all about this,” he added. “I can’t wait for you to hear it and to play it for you on the road this summer.”
Leading the charge is the newly released title track, “Texas Forever,” a powerful ballad co-written with Medley and DeRoberts. With heartfelt lyrics and a melody that hits like a homecoming, the song celebrates the unshakable parts of life that never change—and how that’s something worth holding on to.
