Halloweentown 20th Anniversary: Where Is The Cast Now?

By  |

It seems like just yesterday we were kids falling in love with The Cromwell family. This year marks it’s TWENTIETH anniversary of the original Disney Channel Original Movie. (Let’s be fair, nothing can ever compete with the epic nature of this DCOM.) Even though it has been twenty years, it seems the cast still get together and still celebrate the spirit of Halloweentown.

Kimberly J. Brown (Marnie Piper)

Kimberly wrote her very own Halloween children’s book which you can purchase here. Kimberly has been great about attending fan conventions and the iconic annual Spirit of Halloween festival dedicated to the movie which takes place where it was filmed in Oregon. Best of all? Kimberly appears to be dating Daniel Kountz who played Kal (Kalabar’s son) in Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge!

Joey Zimmerman (Dylan Piper)

Joey is active on his Instagram, from what we can tell he hasn’t acted in television since 2014. He is now a photographer and seems to still be involved in the theater community.

Emily Roeske (Sophie Piper)

If you didn’t fall in love with sweet Sophie, you’re lying to yourself. Emily has left the acting world and is now in Mixed Martial Arts. She was even formerly ranked number one in the country at American Open and is a third degree blackbelt. Emily is private and is not on social media, but you can take a look at a video of her doing karate below.

Robin Thomas (Kalabar)

Robin doesn’t look so scary as himself and not the masked Kalabar. He’s still very much involved in the acting world and last year finished being a series regular on My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Judith Hoag (Gwen Cromwell-Piper)

Judith is still acting, her latest film is in post production. You may recognize Judith from Nashville and The Magicians.

Debbie Reynolds (Aggie Cromwell)

Sadly, everyone’s favorite Witchy Grandma Aggie, Debbie Reynolds, passed away in December of 2016. She still kept the Halloween spirit alive sharing tweets about the movie and even attending Halloweentown annual events.
