FEATURE: 398.2

By  |

Here at SRS, we may be known for our coverage of the entertainment industry both big and small. What you may not know about us is that many of our staff members are obsessive Disney fans. We know every word to our favorite films, own an unhealthy amount of merchandise and still act like 6-year-old’s every time we meet a character at the theme parks. Someone who can relate to us is Lisa Marie Quinn, San Diego native turned Chicagoan who recently launched a Disney/fairy tale themed jewelry collection. Here’s her story:

Once upon a time,

I was drinking coffee in the early morning, when an idea suddenly struck me. The number 398.2 flew off the pages of my favorite fairy-tales, and inspired a whole new world of creativity within me. I immediately felt Tangled up in a new sense of purpose. I felt like Alice, discovering Wonderland for the very first time. And just like Belle herself, I had finally found the Beast in the Beauty of my Imagination.

For those of you wondering, what does this number mean? Well, it’s actually the fairy-tale section of the library! It’s everything that I love! It’s full of stories about Princesses, their brave Prince Charming and Laughter. It’s enchanted with Love, Magic, and Happily Ever Afters. This is my very own storybook, and it’s just the beginning. I’m designing accessories that reflect the life that I’m living. This is a little piece of my fairy-tale, from me to you.

Quinn’s jewelry collection originally started as “One of a Kind by Lisa Marie” and offered a variety of unique pieces created by her. As stated in her story, the concept of the term 398.2 gave her the inspiration to start a new jewelry line – one that combines her love of creativity and her favorite stories.

Since we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with such a fun character, Stage Right Secrets and 398.2 have teamed up to bring you a contest you won’t want to miss! Keep your eyes peeled for more details and be sure to check out her line here.

Also be sure to follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook so you’re the first to know when the contest begins!
