DisneyBound and Dirty Rotten Vintage Coverage

Driving up to Stix and Roses boutique in Chicago, IL was something insane.  I saw fashionistas everywhere “Disneybounding.”  If you don’t know what the Disneybounding phenomenon is it’s dressing subtly like a Disney character.  Leslie Kay created this up and coming trend, fans include Perez Hilton and Holly Madison.  She’s collaborated with Bob Mackie, Dirty Rotten Vintage, and more!

The collaboration was incredible! I adored the shorts that represented Mickey, Donald, ext.  There were so many “oohhs and ahhhs” from attendees that’s all I could hear! Mickey and Minnie stole the show with Mickey jean shorts and a Minnie Dress.  They also came up with Jasmine, Tinkerbell complete with studs and more! The theme of the night was Mad Tea Party, complete with “Eat Me” cookies and cupcakes.  Caprice, designer of Dirty Rotten Vintage was rocking the Queen of Hearts look.  Overall the night was a success, my favorite part was seeing a male Disneybounder dressed up as Mr. Fredrickson from the movie Up! Be sure to check out the line here.
