Trevor Martin Releases Highly Anticipated New Single “Calling It Friends”

Singer-songwriter, Trevor Martin recently released his new single titled Calling It Friends.

The song itself explores all of the heartbreak feelings that comes along with a breakup and then some. When talking about where the feelings of the song originated, Trevor states that “We have all been in this situation where we start falling in love with someone, when they in fact love us too, but only as a friend.” 

 

 

Martin is inspired by the country-pop crossover sound and has had a lot of success within the genre. With his last release earning over 20k streams, he returns with his second crossover release “Calling it Friends.” Trevor’s music is influenced by the likes of Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, and Brett Young.

Trevor has performed multiple times for CMT, promoting the CMT Crossroads, The Listening Room, Ole Red, The Valentine, The Stage, and Belcourt Taps in Nashville. Trevor’s passion for the arts doesn’t stop at music – he’s also an actor. The country singer/songwriter has appeared in HBO’s “Vice Principals” and the feature film “90 Minutes in Heaven” where he wrote and performed the theme song “The UnMiracle.”
