Taylor Swift Performs Stripped Back Version of “Holy Ground”

By  |

What’s better than 2019 Taylor Swift, you may ask?

Well, BBC Radio 1 might have the answer!

2019 Taylor Swift gave the Live Lounge a beautiful stripped-back, piano-driven rendition of her 2012 RED hit “Holy Ground” this past Monday, and her fans were here for it! The 29-year-old singer-songwriter took over the show’s NYC satellite lounge as the sun dawned over Brooklyn Bridge to perform a six-song set.

In addition to her acoustic rendition, Swift performed 4 songs from her brand new album Lover that was just released last month, as well as a beautiful cover of Phil Collins’ iconic “Can’t Stop Loving You,” which is actually a cover of a 1978 Leo Sayer song.

Fans can watch the rest of her set, which includes all her Lover era hits, right here.

Swift will next perform in Paris, France for an exclusive City Of Lover concert on September 9th. Make sure to follow us on Twitter, for we’ll be there with all the exclusives!
