CMA Spotlight: Florida Georgia Line

In December 2010, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard released their first EP as a country duo under the name Florida Georgia line. Now less than four years later, they are one of the top acts in country music.

            In 2012, Florida Georgia Line released their first, and up-to-date only, full-length studio album Here’s to the Good Times featuring the single “Cruise.” According to SoundScan, “Cruise” is the second best-selling Country single ever, having sold over 6.3 million downloads in the U.S. alone. A later version of “Cruise” featuring Nelly hit number 4 on the Billboard charts. A deluxe edition of the album, Here’s to the Good Times… This Is How We Roll featuring Luke Bryan was released in 2013.

            Florida Georgia Line is playing the CMA Music Festival this year on Saturday June 7^th on the LP Field. This will be their second year in a row playing the festival.
