Album Review: Bebe Rexha’s “All Your Fault: Pt. 1”

By  |

Bebe Rexha’s latest album, All Your Fault: Pt. 1, dropped on Friday and if you haven’t listened to it yet I’m going to take a minute to try and convince you that this girl is about to take over! You’ve definitely heard of Bebe before because she’s no stranger to your favorite radio hits like “Me, Myself, & I” with G-Eazy and “In the Name of Love” with Martin Garrix. This artist has some serious chops and this album is the prime example of that.

The first track on the album, “Atmosphere,” serves as an introduction to Bebe’s style: real lyrics based on common experiences matched with head-bopping beats and technical elements. This song is a bit slower than the others which makes it a great opener to help ease you into the album.

“I Got You” is one you have definitely heard. It hit number 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Bebe also performed it live at the MTV EMAs which she hosted. This is an easy song to get into and one you’ll be singing at the top of your lungs during your commute.

“Small Doses” has an incredibly infectious beat with lyrics that most can probably relate to when thinking about a complicated previous or current relationship. It has the same mesmerizing background melodies and is undeniably Bebe.

One of my favorite tracks, “F.F.F (feat. G-Eazy),” talks about letting go of the people who don’t add any value to your life. Bebe Rexha and G-Eazy are a music match made in heaven which puts this song on a whole new level. Get ready to leave your fake friends in the past.

“Gateway Drug” is another track that is super close to being my favorite. It’s definitely a stand-out on the album and gives Bebe a chance to really show off her unique voice that you just can’t get enough of. This will be the one to have on repeat.

The album wraps up with “Bad Bitch (feat. Ty Dolla $ign):” the perfect track to jam to while getting pumped up for a night out. The sassy and sultry combination is combined with great club-ready beats that will make it hard to keep from dancing along.

All Your Fault: Pt. 2 is set to release in April 2017.

You can also catch Bebe on her headlining tour this spring!
