The Governors Ball Reveals 10th Anniversary Stellar Lineup

Due to the pandemic, all major festivals had to cancel their 2020 edition last year. NYC’s very own Governors Ball was no different.

But after a year without live music, The Governors Ball is coming back full-force!

The festival will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary on September 24-26 at its usual location: the Citi Field complex in Queens, NY.

The 2020 edition of the Governors Ball was set to take place last June, but organizers were forced to cancel the event in March following the devastating effects of the pandemic. Acts scheduled to play the former edition included Stevie Nicks, Missy Elliott, and Miley Cyrus amongst others.

However, this year’s brand new stellar lineup, which was just announced today, did not disappoint! Headlining the festival this year will be major forces of the industry: Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and A$AP Rocky.

“Building a recovery for all of us means reconnecting with the iconic events that make New York City the greatest travel destination in the world,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio in a press statement. “As more New Yorkers become vaccinated by the day, we’re proud to support arts and culture and welcome back Governors Ball and their fantastic lineup, including New York City’s own Princess Nokia, A$AP Rocky, and King Princess, among others.”
