Single Review: Jenny Tolman- “Rock & Roll To My Country Soul”

By  |
Rising country songstress Jenny Tolman recently released a new single, “Rock & Roll to My Country Soul.” Said to be a young Emmy Lou Harris, Jenny uniquely brings back the sounds of traditional country music and classic storytelling into today’s landscape. She expertly incorporates a modern southern style with her smooth, sultry sound to create the perfect blend. The up-beat ballad is the perfect anthem for traditional country fans and modern country fans alike, as Jenny brings the classic music of the genre to the forefront, and with a new edge.

Inspired by true storytellers such as Dolly Parton, Roger Miller and Lee Ann Womack, Jenny expresses her unique self through songwriting. Her last release, “Something To Complain About,” includes sprinkles of wit mixed with soul and compassion to create an epic story. “We live in a society where you’re told not to feel things,” she says. “But that’s literally what you survive off of: your feelings and your instincts. So it makes me feel really good to be open and honest about them because I know that people are going to connect to it.” Named “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone, Jenny Tolman is reaching new heights with every beat.
