Mickey Guyton is ready to co-host the 2021 ACM Awards with Keith Urban.

Mickey Guyton on ACM Hosting Duties

This will be Mickey Guyton’s first time hosting a televised awards show, and she will get to do it alongside one of her favorite fellow artists. I am so excited, nervous, and terrified about hosting a major award show with Keith Urban. I can’t believe it. I’m so honored the ACMs believed in me enough to step into this role.”

Fans can expect all of the fashion moments during the show. “There will be a lot of outfit changes,” she revealed. “It’s important to help people be hopeful and bring joy to people’s living rooms and that’s what we want to do.”

Along with her hosting duties, she will be performing for the second year in a row. Last year, she performed “What Are You Gonna Tell Her?” alongside Urban on the piano. “I’ll be performing ‘Hold On’ that I wrote for the movie Breakthrough,” she said. This song means so much to me, as a new mom and during this time of hardships for so many people. It’s so important to hold on and don’t let go and I hope I can bring people hope when I sing this song.”

“I’m so excited to hit the stage,” she added. “The Grammys was my last performance. I got to perform at the ACMs the past 3 years with Chrissy Metz, last year I got to perform with Keith Urban and this year I get to perform by myself and I’m so excited and nervous. I want to honor these awards because they mean a lot to me.”

Her 2-month-old son will be babysat by his grandparents. “I’m still technically supposed to be on maternity leave and I’m not so my parents are flying into Texas to help me take care of him while I’m hosting an award show,” she said.
