Marianas Trench officially kicked off with The Force of Nature Tour with a big bang.

Marianas Trench Live Concert Review

After the band had to postpone the first set of concerts due to illness, the first show in Orlando, Florida at House of Blues, kicked off with a literal bang. Just three minutes prior to the band taking the stage, the stage lit up in blue hues. Then AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” played over the loudspeakers while the crowd began to scream along.

Lead singer Josh Ramsey, guitarist Matt Webb, bassist Mike Ayley, and drummer Ian Casselman, took the stage to a deafening applause and cheering. The four-piece perfectly crafted their setlist to include their fan-favorite hits while also introducing listeners to their new record, Haven.

The band showcased their versatility, seamlessly transitioning from the upbeat, infectious rhythms of “Cross My Heart” to the more emotional tones of “Astoria.” Each song was met with thunderous applause, and the harmonies—can’t say enough about their harmonies!—were spot on, a testament to the band’s impressive vocal skills.

The show marked the live debut of “Haven,” “A Normal Life,” “I’m Not Getting Better,” “Down to You,” “Into the Storm,” along with “Turn and Run.”

Visually, the concert was a feast for the eyes. Stunning backdrops and vibrant lighting created an immersive atmosphere, perfectly complementing the band’s theatrical style. The stage coincided with the theme of their latest record with grass, clouds, lightning bollt, and a vibrant lightscape.

In a world where live music can sometimes feel rehearsed, Marianas Trench proved that they are masters of their craft. They delivered a performance filled with raw energy, emotion, and genuine connection. This concert was more than just a show; it was a celebration of music, fandom, and marked a well awaited return.
