Mad Cool Announces Additional 30 Names To 2024 Lineup

Madrid’s Mad Cool music festival has announced 21 additional names to their already star-studded 2024 lineup.

The annual Spanish festival, which will return to Madrid’s Iberdrola Music venue in the Villaverde district from July 10-13, had already announced over sixty performers back in December 2023.

Joining the lineup this week are Italian chart-toppers Mäneskin, who will headline on Friday, as well as Las Vegas iconic rock band The Killers, who will take over the main stage on Saturday night.

Also joining the lineup are Rema, Tyla, Sexyy Red, Nia Archives, Alec Benjamin, 2ManyDJs, Claudia León, Dead Posey, Depresión Sonora, Lord Huron, Bar Italia, Andres Campo, Picture Parlour, Sea Girls, Nadye, Comandante Twin, Julia Sabaté, Choses Sauvages, and Slix.

In addition to their full 2024 lineup, Mad Cool organizers have also announced that this year’s edition will come with a series of improvements in the overall attendee experience.

“After the active participation of thousands of attendees in our consumer poll (both qualitative and quantitative) and with the firm intention of listening to their needs and continually raising the standard of quality and comfort, we aim to implement a series of significant changes. These changes are geared towards enhancing the overall experience for everyone. To achieve this, Mad Cool Festival organization has developed several substantial improvements for the 2024 edition at the Iberdrola Music venue,” the festival’s press release states.

The improvements listed include:

• four days of festivities instead of three to minimize overlaps between artists,
• six stages instead of eight to minimize schedule clashes and prevent sound leaks across stages,
• reduced festival capacity to allow for a better crowd flow, more space for movement between stages and fewer queues
• additional and bigger screens around the stages,
• more bathroom facilities, water supply points, wristband charging points and chill-out areas.
