Keith Urban Rings in 2018 in Nashville

By  |

There were many celebrations happening around the world to ring in the new year. But the biggest celebration of all took place in the heart of Nashville. Free live entertainment was happening all night from acts like Cheap Trick and Maren Morris. But the main event was the highlight. Keith Urban took the stage around 10:45 pm, headlining the best New Year’s Eve show one could offer.

He rang in the new year singing his new hit “Female” as well as other hits like “You Gonna Fly,” “Wasted Time” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color”. Urban also took the show to the next level by paying tribute to the lives we lost in 2017.

As it neared Midnight, Urban took a quick break to kiss his wife Nicole Kidman and wish her a happy new year. But the show wasn’t over. The music note had dropped and the country superstar took the stage once more, playing more classics and his wife and two daughters Sunday and Faith came on to the stage once more to have a dance party. The temps may have been frigid but that didn’t stop Urban from making sure the crowd had the time of their lives.

Needless to say, Nashville was the place with the real entertainment. If you missed out on an incredible night, check out some photos from the event below.
