On June 6, Avery Lynch returns with “Lasting Effects,” a haunting yet hopeful new single that explores love, loss, and self-discovery.

Inspired by a breakup and a painful remark that no one else would love her the same, Avery Lynch turned heartbreak into clarity for her new single.

“I realized he was right—but not in the way he thought,” she shares. “I don’t want someone like him, or to be loved like that.”

Soft piano, ambient textures, and Lynch’s tender vocals carry the emotional weight of the track, which she co-produced with Jordanlilvee and Michael Blum. Though born from pain, “Lasting Effects” is ultimately about reclaiming power and rediscovering self-worth.
