Avery Anna Unveils Powerful Visual Companion to Let Go Letters Album with Emotional Short Film

By  |

Rising country artist Avery Anna released her second album, Let Go Letters—and alongside it, a deeply moving short film that brings the album’s emotional themes to life. The film blends together the music videos for five standout tracks—“Cheerios,” “Danny Don’t,” “Depression,” “Grave,” and “Skinny”—into one powerful, connected story.

Co-directed by Avery alongside Ben Humphrey, Kate Bowling, and Tyler Shoemaker, the short film goes beyond visuals. It’s a narrative experience grounded in real-life emotions, inspired by the Let Go Letters project Anna started with her fans.

Through this project, listeners anonymously shared letters about the pain and experiences they wanted to release—stories of body image struggles, depression, addiction, suicide, and domestic violence. These letters became the foundation of both the songs and the visuals.

Between music videos, the film features Avery reading from the letters, adding an intimate and heartfelt touch that ties everything together. The result is an honest, emotional, and ultimately hopeful film that invites viewers not just to watch—but to feel, reflect, and heal.
